Cebu Trip : May 6 - May 8, 2009

Last May 6 was our 2nd month Anniversary and we celebrated it by going to Cebu. Mostly it was a business trip for my girlfriend since she was there to monitor and evaluate her OJT students and I was there because I wanted to get a breather away from work.



We took so many pictures and it was one tiring but fun and happy adventure/vacation for us. We just got back from Cebu around 4AM this morning, aboard the Trans Asia ship. We were so pissed when we left last Wednesday because our voyage was delayed for 3 hours because a woman gave birth in the clinic and the hotel manager along with the officers took her to the hospital after she gave birth. We left the port at around 12AM and we arrived in Cebu at around 7AM in the morning. We were greeted by one of her students, Dominic who gave us a slightly informative routes for getting to the place we need to go.



We settled at Shamrock Pension House and rested for a couple of hours before starting off with the monitoring. We left at around 11am and went to SM Megamall to kill the time, since we were due at SMART and INFOCOM at around 2pm. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we were delayed by annoying insurance salesmen and it took us 1 hour and a half to get away from them. Around 4pm, we arrived at the Asia IT Park and started to hike all the way to the building where Infocom was housed. After the visit, we went to the new Smart building located in N.Bacalso avenue, formerly known as PLDT building. But we were too late since the supervisor of her students already left and we were forced to reschedule for tomorrow. Not knowing what to do anymore, we decided to go to the Ayala Mall and it took us near 30 minutes to get there.

Tired and feet hurting but still with the desire to explore the place, we decided to meet Dominic there and went around to walk for a bit in the mall. It was a nice mall, but I am used to the small malls in Cagayan de Oro city and it was kinda frustrating to be lost in a Mall.

We ate dinner at Pizza hut and we tried out their Lasagna pizza, a good 14 inch thin crust pizza with the lasagna goodness. It was like eating a thick crust pizza and it was oh so good. 2 slices made me full to the brim I had to loosen my belt.

We went to Starbucks before we went home to try out their coffee and believe it or not, it's as expensive as Coffeeworks here in Cagayan de Oro and the coffee was great.

Afterwards we went back to our hotel and took a shower and finally slept after a long day.

I have never met someone like you and you are one in a billion and I am truly lucky to have you in my life now and everyday has always been the happiest for me when I am with you. I miss you when I can no longer hold your hand and when your presence is no longer felt. I miss you always when you're not around.

Our unusual love story... PART 1

This is a story of how two people who’re perfect for each other met in the most unlikely circumstances…


Justin, browsing thru the members page of some group that he’s reluctantly joined because of his fixation for signing up for anything, finds a very interesting person out of the blue, and how he picked her out of the hundreds that have posted beforehand, we will never know. He sees her messenger ID, and adds her up, with a matching introduction, considering that Justin was the resident rebel for that group. A couple of minutes later, she confirms his invitation and they got to talking.

Rhea, on the other hand, was preparing for her schoolwork and next lessons when this sudden invitation came out of nowhere. Out of curiosity, she confirms the invitation and begins the sudden inquiry. He wittingly replies that he got her ID from the blog post that she’s made, and it was sheer luck on his side that it was the right ID that she was currently using. Lucky bastard, she thought to herself.

To avoid the painstaking details of what they talked about, basically they found out that they have the same interests, same differences, same hobbies, train of thoughts, and surprisingly, relationship history. They’re twins; only blood couldn’t have brought them any closer or similar than they are. Both have felt a sudden connection on their first time talking online, but here comes the twist of the entire story: at this time of telling, Justin has a girlfriend and Rhea was interested in someone else from a far away place.

But somehow, that factor never diminished their current state of relationship to one another: as twins.

Everyday, Justin would make it a point to talk to his twin. With the intent of setting up his twin with a close colleague, Justin brought up to Rhea on her sentiments about being set up. Fortunately, Rhea agreed to Justin’s plan and soon after, Rhea and Justin’s officemate were already chatting.

One day, Rhea told her twin that they were going to be seeing each other on a Friday and invites his twin to come along. It seems that Rhea wasn’t that fond of going out on blind dates, and hoping to redeem her, Justin agrees to come along

The day came and Justin and his officemate were waiting for Rhea in a coffee shop outside their local mall. Not long after, Rhea came. For hours they talked and talked about pretty much anything, until time came for Rhea to leave them.

Little did the two would be couple know that the two of them were feeling attached and attracted to each other from that point on...
